Peter Black
AIM is founded by Peter Black on Notre-Dame Street East, in Montreal, Quebec.
1963
Innovation
The company becomes one of the first metal recyclers in the world to build a heated facility, a gme changer for improving the working conditions and productivity of the employees.
1988
Worldwide
The global earthquarters are moved to Henri-Bourrassa East, in Montreal, to a new site with 100+ acres of land.
2000
International clients
With its first shredder deployed in Montreal, AIM Recycling becomes more competitive on the domestic market and greatly expends its international client base.
2021
More than 70 sites
In 2021, AIM Recycling has over 70 sites worldwide, 5 processing facilities with shredders, 4 direct access to deep-water ports.
